No. ('nō) is the art and design house of Romy Northover, specialising in an 'ancient future' style.
An English ceramicist and designer, Romy works with interior and landscape designers, architects, private clients and sells through select retailers and galleries. Currently, No. has distributors internationally in US, Europe, Australia and Japan.
Romy holds a BA in Fine Art from Goldsmiths, University of London, and has spent time living and working in Hong Kong, Venice and Berlin before opening her first studio at Togei Kyoshitsu in Manhattan in 2012. Trained in European ceramics, she has experimented with traditional Japanese techniques. Romy's art and design practice is supported by a strong visual and conceptual language, that is communicated through clay, and through other mixed media such as video, photography and installation.
